Late Pre-registration (provision available only for the first time exporters) |

Untitled Document
In order to help the companies (that would be exporting to Europe for the first time after the end of the pre-registration period on 30th Nov’ 2008) to comply with the REACH regulation, ECHA made the provision of Late Pre-registration. It is important to note that this provision is only available for the substances that would be exported to Europe for the first time above quantities of 1 ton per annum.
Late pre-registration can be done 12 months to the respective REACH registration deadline, depending upon the tonnage to be exported and the intrinsic property of the substance (whether it is a CMR category 1 or 2 substance or has a risk phrase of R50/53). Late pre-registration enables the companies to take advantage of the extended registration deadlines within REACH.
